Category and Space Management is a foundation to an effective business plan. We work with our clients and customers to assess category trends, identify opportunities, establish objectives and produce a plan to meet our client and customer business goals.
Dunham & Smith Business Managers utilize syndicated data from many sources to include, Nielsen, IRI, Empower IT and Exchange RPOS. This information is analyzed to discover category trends and opportunities.
D&S has a proven record of producing effective plan-o-grams for over 70 categories across the dry, chill, and frozen categories. In addition to the plan-o-grams produced during category reviews and new items launches, Dunham & Smith’s Space Management department manages over a thousand store specific Plan-o-grams for our Exchanges Service partners. There are many keys to being a preferred partner, the Category and Space Management process is an important element where we add value.
