Each holiday season, the Louisiana Canned Yam Commission holds a National Display Contest where individual sales representatives & brokers compete for top display honors across the country on Canned Yams. D&S battles against other retail brokers, and the DeCA commissaries compete against national retail chains. This year, Bruce Foods was the supplier for 8 of the 13 awards. At the top was Eglin AFB, taking home the 2nd place display contest award and earning a check for $1,000. This 2nd place finish now makes it 6 of the last 7 years that a D&S manufacturer has won an award.
